Brother Lawrence DamienBrother John C.S.E.F. (Community of Saints Elizabeth of Hungary and Francis de Sales) was born in Maine in 1948, started teaching/preaching in 1966, and was ordained to the ministry in 1970.

I was raised in the Congregational faith and later became Church of Christ, then Pentecostal, then Episcopal/Old Catholic.

I was educated at Melodyland School of the Bible 1968-1970, San Jose Bible college one semester in 1972, and then Bethesda Bible College in San Jacinto, CA from 1999-2002.

I have served as Bible Teacher, Deacon, Elder and Pastor.

On top of all that I have written a book I’m Gay and its OK that can be found on Christian gays site. I also work with the Disciplined Order of Christ which I have been a member of here in San diego since 2002. I teach Bible study for them. help with retreats for them and am also a part of the prayer intercessoryministry for them. Im contiuning my studies and also working with a new online Catholic parish St. Isodore of Seville Father Dermot Rodgers is the head of that. Have also been a part of Christian Gays for about three years and have taught for them in a weekly Bible study. Am also in their chat most nites.

For future plans I may be a part of starting a new parish here in Chula Vista of my church. Plan to continue editing my book and see about getting it published. Also plan to keep writing, doing studies, possible ordiantion (which I dont have at present was given up when I joined the Charismatic Episcopal Church) as deacon and maybe priest God willing.
